My name is Dean Santoro and welcome to my profile page. Throughout my career I've been leading technology projects in the financial services, manufacturing, retail, pharma, insurance, telecommunications and professional services sectors for over twenty years. I have a B.S. in Computer Science and an MBA in Management. In addition I've held a multitude of technology certifications from leading vendors like Microsoft, Cisco, Novell, Citrix and many others.
I am Dean Santoro, business & technology professional, author and MBA educated leader spearheading projects and programs in the financial services, manufacturing, retail, biotechnology, insurance, telecommunications and professional services sectors for more than twenty years.
Over my career, I've held several industry certifications from Microsoft, Novell, Cisco, Citrix as well as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), Six Sigma Green Belt and PMP (Project Management Professional). My strengths are building and optimizing organizations to improve overall business value. I have extensive experience at all levels of service delivery with customers, vendors and partners. I enjoy leading and mentoring high performance teams through building solid, mutually beneficial relationships. I have accomplished goals and objectives by focusing on customers and delivering ROI through numerous implementations of major strategic technology initiatives along the full spectrum of information services managing at the portfolio, program and project levels.
In addition to my professional career, I am an appointed member of the Billerica Substance Abuse Prevention Committee and work with local businesses, schools, law enforcement and parents to aid in the education, prevention and deterrence from substance abuse in our community.
I currently work at Shire Pharmaceuticals in Lexington, Massachusetts managing the implementation of of security-related programs and projects across the global enterprise.
